Single session therapy
Single session therapy offers a convenient and effective way to address specific challenges without the commitment of long-term counseling. Whether you're navigating a major life change like a breakup, job loss, or relocation, or dealing with a personal issue that needs a fresh perspective, a single therapy session can provide the support you need. With 15 years of experience offering brief support, I specialize in helping clients find relief, develop a plan of action, and gain clarity on their concerns in just one session. There's no problem too big or too small to explore, and most clients can be seen as soon as this week. Click below to request your appointment today and start feeling better.

What If My Problem Is Too Big for a Single Session?
A single session can offer a valuable opportunity to gain immediate clarity, reduce emotional distress, and create a plan of action. If your issue feels too big to tackle all at once, we can focus on the most pressing aspect of it, providing you with relief and guidance in the moment. For many, a single session is a powerful first step—whether it’s processing a recent change, making an important decision, or simply gaining a fresh perspective. If additional support is needed, we can discuss options for next steps together.
I’m ready to sign-up. What now?
To sign up for single session therapy, follow these steps:
Click "Request Appointment": Start by selecting the option to request an appointment below.
Choose "Single Session Therapy": When prompted, choose the "Single Session Therapy" option.
Indicate Session Length: You will then select the length of time you'd like for your session. I recommend 85-minute sessions for most people, but 55-minute and 110-minute sessions are also available. Choose the session length that works best for you, depending on the complexity of the issue and how long you predict it will take to explain or explore.
Choose a Time: After clicking the request button, you will be prompted to select a time that works best for you. Pick a time slot that fits your schedule.
Wait for Confirmation: Once you've chosen your time, you'll need to wait for confirmation. You will normally hear back within 24 hours, or by Monday if you schedule an appointment over the weekend.
Receive Paperwork: After the appointment is confirmed, you will receive paperwork to fill out before the session. This helps provide background information and ensures the session is tailored to your needs.
Therapy Format: Single session therapy is available both virtually and in person. The provider will confirm the location when they confirm your appointment. If you're choosing a virtual session, the confirmation will include the details for connecting online.
Once everything is confirmed and your paperwork is submitted, you're all set for your single session therapy!
